I love it when we stay busy and this week has been a week full of things to do. We have been working with a less active family. She has been less active for many years and it is hard for her to change some things in her life.
We made some more baby steps with Tyler. He committed to read 3 Nephi, Chapter 11 where Christ came to America. We asked him to read it and to pray about it. He said he would and I know he will read it and I hope that he will pray about it.
We also got a referral for a Japanese guy that visited temple square. We tried to call him but he didn't answer. The address we got ended up being Williamite University, so we got a school map and was trying to find his room. we got a call from him like ten minutes later. He was telling us that he visited temple square and had talked to a Japanese missionary. I told him we were trying to find him so he met us. We invited him to church and he said he wanted to go. We picked him up Sunday and he came to all three hours. There is a family in the ward from Japan and we are having the lessons at their house. It is so cool to find humble people that want to learn and join the church. He is going back to Japan on June 11 so I hope he will be baptized when he gets there. It has been awesome to be part of teaching him the gospel.
As a missionary you never know what kind of an impact you can have on someone's life. There are some moments that make being a missionary so great.
