This week brings many changes that I will need to get used to. My companion is being transferred to Albany and I will be getting a new companion that is already serving here in Klamath Falls. His companionship was covering the 5th ward boundaries. Elder Barker and I had one ward and one branch we were working with. We will now be combining the two areas. So, we will cover two wards and one branch. That is good news because we will be able to stay busier with appointments here in Klamath Falls. Hopefully that means less tracting!
Having the two wards and the branch will also make for busier Sundays. Trying to get to everywhere might prove challenging. The Lord brings us the challenges we need to help make us better. With the right attitude we will be able to make good progress in this part of the Lord's vineyard.
My companion is Elder Goodfellow and he is from Sandy. I am looking forward to working with him and learning what he has to offer. Saying goodbye to Elder Barker was tough. He was my first companion here in Oregon and I will miss him.
